Positive Vibes Cafe

by Claire D.
I had a great time at Positive Vibe Cafe! I learned measuring, knife skills, kitchen sanitation, bussing tables, & a couple of simple recipes such as ice cream in a bag. I really enjoyed it. The people are very nice. I am sorry it ended on December 10. I wish it were at least a semester long. I graduated on December 10. I am so going to miss it, especially Amy Wells, Garth Larcen, & Max Larcen. I am not thinking of applying for a job there because it is so far from where I live, & CARE is unreliable; if I could afford it, I could use taxis for transportation & be able to work at Positive Vibe without a "tour of Richmond" (CARE) for transportation. The sanitizer we cleaned with is quaternary ammonium compound, a.k.a. Quats. I love the words quaternary & quats.

Jermaine's Job

I reacquired my job at Target on S. Labernum. I'm a Cashier again and now have more reaponsibilities this time. This time on the job I now also work in the store with pricing merchandise and restocking. I have the same co-coworkers as I did before so it is a familiar environment. I get along with all my co-workers. We talk joke, laugh, and have fun, and at the same time we still do our job. Recently on the job I've been seeing some old friends from high school. My supervisor told me and my Job Coach that I am improving each time I work.
