Tommy:
The Mill House has been absolutely instrumental to my recovery over the past several months. It is not only a great place to meet other survivors who are traveling on the same long, hard road as myself; but also serves as a nexus for us to do what really feels like important work, like advocating for the attention of the public to issues affecting the TBI survivor community.
Barely a year and a half after my own injury, I am now walking and talking, a college student, and still alive to tell the story. Not only I, but many others as well, consider this to be the product of a real-life, true blue miracle; and for that I am thankful every day.
As an added bonus, becoming part of the Mill House family has been such a soul-nourishing and enriching experience; making my own long, hard road…a little less hard, and not as long as it once appeared to be.
