Jeff”s Rap Well I’m the J - A double Z - Y, J - E - F - F. On the Microphone don’t you call me Def Jeff. On the Microphone I go 1, 2, 3. I cold rock the Mic for you and me, and when I rock the Mic I rock it viciously. Cause I’m Jazzy Jeff as I’ve said before when I’m on the Mic you can’t ask for much more. Cause I just rock a party and I go for mine. I say check 1, 2 I run it down the line. Now to the average M. C. I’m known as the Terminator Funky Beat maker New Jack exterminator. Destroying a crew when they step in my way, cause you can tell by the rhymes I say I don’t play. When I say destroy you know I mean beat down. Get it, got it, good, now get down. Or get on up. Or just back up out my way while I rip it up, it up, it up!!

Tommy: The Mill House has been absolutely instrumental to my recovery over the past several months. It is not only a great place to meet other survivors who are traveling on the same long, hard road as myself; but also serves as a nexus for us to do what really feels like important work, like advocating for the attention of the public to issues affecting the TBI survivor community. Barely a year and a half after my own injury, I am now walking and talking, a college student, and still alive to tell the story. Not only I, but many others as well, consider this to be the product of a real-life, true blue miracle; and for that I am thankful every day. As an added bonus, becoming part of the Mill House family has been such a soul-nourishing and enriching experience; making my own long, hard road…a little less hard, and not as long as it once appeared to be.

In my opinion time just seems to go faster as it progresses. For instance the later in the year it gets, the nearer the holidays approach us, and the sooner you are going to hear “ Remember when ….” - Unknown Member

"HALLMARK"

All of the signatures I have to sign, and I'm starting to get tired of it. Hou many of you out there feel the way I do? I think we should just get a rubber stamp. I know that your thinking that a rubber stamp could easily be coppied, but so can someones signature.

Article on State Legislature Follow-Up

Article on State Legislature Follow-Up On January 30th we attended Legislative Day at the State House, where we represented the brain injury community - with a handful of initiatives - to our state delegates and state senators. We recently began a new round of letter-writing, specifically to the members of the Budget Committee that will convene on June 15th and begin the process of funds allocation. Every Mill House member, with Carley’s organization, is providing missives to the committee members by hard letter and/or email, further advocating for the brain injury community.

"The Lone Soldier in a Private War"

I walk with no man; I always walk alone My soul made of fire, my heart of stone I have no pain, ignoring all that I feel With bones of iron and nerves of steel This is what I portray, fooling you all My sheilding all over, my defenses so tall but inside I'm weak having unsettled war not knowing why I'm fighting, or what I'm fighting for
